Every film is directed, shot and edited by Victoria filmmaker Benjamin Farris, who grew up playing competitive soccer. He knows where to stand, when the moment is coming and how to film without getting in the way.

Athlete documentaries. Short films about one athlete's path: the training, the setbacks and what keeps them going. Our films follow a triathlete to Ironman, a Division 1 American football player and a Canadian national rugby player.
Race and event coverage. Recap films and social clips from races and events, planned around the start line, the key moments and the finish. Our Oak Bay Half Marathon coverage was made for Frontrunners. Next-day social clips are available as an add-on.
Running and sports brand content. Ongoing video and photo for sports retailers and brands, shot on real athletes on real routes around Victoria. Frontrunners has more than 60 pieces and counting.

How a sports film comes together
Planning call. Who the film is for (sponsors, recruiters, fans or customers) and where it will be watched.
Access and schedule. Training sessions, race day, travel and interviews, planned around the athlete's or event's calendar.
Filming. Handheld and gimbal work that moves with the action, interviews and the quiet moments in between. Additional crew for larger events.
Edit and delivery. Story edit, colour grading, sound and music, with versions for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and your website.
