I was fortunate enough to spend a full week adventuring through the incredible terrain around Campbell Icefield Lodge in the Canadian Rockies. I experienced snow, rain, and large amounts of sweat as I hiked up and down the surrounding peaks.
Our helicopter flight into Campbell Icefield was a unique experience. As we neared the Lodge, the rainy overcast weather suddenly turned into an outright blizzard, right in the middle of August! Landing in a sea of white, we scrambled to get all of our gear indoors before the snowstorm soaked us through. Thankfully, the skies cleared up the following day, and we hiked in beautiful weather for the rest of our trip.
